She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Texas A&M University, and earned her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. And completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at HCA Healthcare Las Palmas Del Sol in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Chavarria has special interests in preventive care, contraception, obstetrical care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is deeply passionate about women’s medicine and believes in empowering women through every stage of life by promoting education, access, and individualized care. As a first-generation Latina physician, Dr. Amanda Chavarria is especially committed to serving the diverse San Antonio community with cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care.
