This was my first time seeing Dr. Schaefer after my other doctor stopped practicing. She was very friendly and professional. It was very easy to talk to her. She also gave me great information & recommendations. The appointment also didn’t feel too long or rushed. I never want to be in that room for very long anyways, so I appreciated that as well.

She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Texas A&M University, and earned her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. And completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at HCA Healthcare Las Palmas Del Sol in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Chavarria has special interests in preventive care, contraception, obstetrical care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is deeply passionate about women’s medicine and believes in empowering women through every stage of life by promoting education, access, and individualized care.
